I teach 24 first grade students in a high poverty school where 99% receive free and reduced lunch. The children's needs are very diverse, as they operate at varying skill levels and it is our goal at my school to find resources to make sure everyone's needs are met. My class population includes students with special needs that require the creation of alternative and modified activities to help them achieve specific learning goals.
