I teach Kindergarten math at a small rural school in Kentucky. My students face many socioeconomic barriers and challenges on a daily basis. I want to give them the best start for their school career to encourage them to complete high school and beyond. Many students are academically below the level of average Kindergartners and we work very hard every day to help them grow. Like any other children, they are resilient and trusting and I want to use those qualities to help them become the best they can be!

About my class
