My 7th grade students attend a great middle school in Northern Illinois. The students are very excited about science and are beginning to understand how science affects their daily lives. They are bright, quick learners. These 7th graders cannot seem to get enough of the new science that the school and teachers are now teaching. The labs and demonstrations give students opportunities that they have yet to be given. The 7th grade students are part of a low socially economic area with very limited experience with science and technology.
