Welcome to my world. I simply love teaching. When I was a child I always wanted to teach children. For some reason as I grew older I felt very rewarded when teaching a child how to read. Literally, tears would come to my eyes when I finally heard a struggling reader, read his/her first few words. Due to this great feeling, I personally find it very rewarding to teach in schools where I am mostly needed. Inner-city and Title 1 schools seem to have my heart. I am not saying that it is easy, on the contrary, it can be very challenging at times. Yet, it is the most rewarding feeling a teacher can receive.
