Thank you for visiting my class project page! I am so grateful that more students have been able to participate in String Orchestra this year due to your generosity. We have 40 fourth and fifth graders learning how to play either violin, viola, or cello! These precious children are so excited to be in strings class, and many take advantage of our before-school sessions, as well. Learning to play an instrument and belonging to the school orchestra opens up a whole new world of friendship and fun. Orchestra provides a great foundation for our students in all aspects of life. In addition to music, students learn self-discipline, problem-solving, goal-setting, self-expression, memory skills, concentration, poise, enhanced physical coordination, high self-esteem, and the importance of teamwork. Please consider donating today so that we may accept new low-income students into our fourth-grade string orchestra next year.
