The LittleBits Gizmos and Gadgets sets will give students a hands-on opportunity to create with technology. The Legos will allow more students to build creatively because the Tinker Toys that we already have are in high demand. Students will use the general craft supplies to make whatever they can imagine! All of these materials will be located in our Create Space. The goal of our Create Space is to allow students to use their imaginations, hone their problem solving skills, and collaborate with other students and staff in creative efforts. We have several activities scheduled to inspire our student's creativity. The Create Space grand opening will teach students to crochet grocery bags into sleeping mats that will be donated to homeless shelters. Our second scheduled activity will be making friendship bracelets. Students will lead this activity teaching other students and staff how to make the bracelets.
