I teach a fabulous group of fourth graders that are excited about learning and want to be immersed in technology. They also love to read and are eager to meet their Accelerated Reader Goals. Every morning there is a line as they wait for the computer to take their test so they can go get a new book. Students eager to learn should not have to stand in line and wait. We have also been going to the outdoor classroom and learning about our environment. Just this week a local environment group donated 6 trees native to Alabama for us to plant that my students would like to learn more about. Today a turtle was found at the outdoor classroom and my students would like to be able to look up what kind of turtle, but they were having a hard time getting our computer on-line.
