My students are from a rural community in Kentucky. Many are from economically disadvantaged homes. Several of the students either lives with one parent or their grandparents. They attend a public high school where they receive services for various learning disabilities. Being successful is something they have not always experienced in and outside of school. I'm fortunate to be working with such great students, who have impacted my life and my desire to want to help them become successful.
