I teach at a campus where many of our students come from homes that are socially and economically disadvantaged. We service a diverse group of learners from English language learners to special education students. Although we have a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) policy, many of our students do not own a device that they can bring. I am hoping to fill this gap in their educational experience. Technology skills will be a requirement in their future employment, so I feel an even bigger responsibility to provide them with the opportunity to gain these skills in a meaningful way.

About my class
