With the addition of Chromebooks in our classroom, we will be able to have access to additional academic support. My students will be able to work on websites that reinforce skills and enable higher level learning. Chromebooks will support individualized learning experiences. The Chromebooks will become a tool that will help create authentic learning experiences in the classroom as well as build twenty first century skills that our children need in order to be successful in a quickly evolving technical world. My students will be able to work on writing, reading, test taking strategies, working with math manipulatives and more. They will receive adaptive technology while waiting in the progress monitoring or I.E.P. process. They will be able to create both independent and collaborative projects in order to show true understanding of concepts. Chromebooks are an integral tool that should be utilized in every classroom. My students deserve to explore and learn on the same level as students who have this access. Our classroom will be forever changed by the addition of Chromebooks. All students will be able to access learning through technology on a daily basis - exciting!
