Remember sitting in school thinking "When will I ever use this?" Ladera Ranch Middle School is fortunate to have a class that answers that question! Our Home Arts program is a "Life Skills" class, which weaves every subject into every lesson. Our middle school students can apply their learning in a fun and meaningful way. Our goal is to win at life! Our curriculum covers peer relationships, child development, finance, clothing care, hand and machine sewing, nutrition, and culinary skills. 160 sixth through eighth grade students grace my classroom every day.
