My students are very hard workers, though they have various levels of difficulty in reading, writing, and math. Many of my students are working well below grade level, with most functioning between a third and sixth grade reading level. I aim to provide them with every opportunity for success, and I have seen wonderful improvements in their reading skills! It is a great feeling as a teacher to see a student who has been struggling with something finally make some gains! I have especially seen this in reading, where access to appropriate materials at their reading levels can be a struggle in itself.
