My students range in ages from 11 years old to 15 years old at our junior high school. As you can imagine, the size difference is great. We have almost 1000 students so; my keyboards get a good workout every day. Often the frequently used keys--backspace and space bar--start sticking or catching, making it very frustrating for a beginning keyboarder. Ergonomic keyboards are not only better suited to fit the students, but they are a sturdier, stronger and a more durable keyboard. Currently I have only two in my classroom, and students make much better progress on these keyboards.
