I am a Kindergarten teacher with a class of energetic and engaging students who for the first time are entering the world of academic learning. Kindergarten is a very special year because many of our 5 year olds will experience many "first" learning milestones. From social skills, letter recognition, letter sounds, to reading and writing, as well as number recognition, number quantities to solving mathematical word problems. To see my kindergartners achieve such academic growth is mind blowing, but to see their little faces of overjoy when they themselves realize they have achieve such greatness, it is priceless.
