We are located in Southwestern Louisiana. I teach at a Title 1 middle school that has very little technology. I transferred from a parish that had an astronomical amount of computers, state of the art technology, and jump drives everywhere. After recently polling my new 5th graders, many of them have a computer but not a printer. This is a wonderful way for me to extend my lessons and for them to be creative. This also would allow them to save work and since many do not have printers, I could print and publish graphics, writings, and any assignments(typed or created). I am very elated that I hopefully will be funded for this project. Writing is very important and my first assignment would be aligned with CCSS. I would have them create their graphic and type composition. They would be ecstatic! I would extend any genre of literature (example poetry-with websites that they use, create, and save on their jump drive. The other supplies I ordered would help with daily lessons!!!!
