Our school is a neighborhood school with a tight sense of community for an urban area. My classroom family of first grade students is eager to learn. I have students with a wide range of abilities. It is sometimes a challenge to teach traditional subjects in a way that motivates the entire class. I am blessed to have parent volunteers that are willing to help out in the classroom.
