I teach an amazing group of transition students with diverse learning needs in a high poverty area of a city in Illinois. Some of my students have diagnosis such as Autism, Developmental Delay, and other co-occurring disabilities. My students work hard to reach their full potential and are constantly making strides in their levels of ability. I work to ensure that they enjoy the best life possible and that they work towards their educational and life goals on a daily basis, all while having fun and building community with one another.

About my class
