I teach in a kindergarten through second grade special education class with students with autism. There are currently nine students in my classroom with the chances of getting some new kindergartners as the school year begins. At this time, there are six first graders and three second graders. My students are from 5 to 7 years of age who are eager to learn and love attending school. They are in need of the right classroom materials and environment to help them be successful.
