I think it’s important to give my students ownership of their learning. In our class, my students are aware of their current academic strengths and areas that need a bit more practice. I work with each of my students to help them set individual learning goals for each concept that we are working on. The Place Value Cards and Math Equivalency Puzzles will give students the chance to practice new math skills and review previously taught concepts while playing a game and having fun! The Comprehension Center and Boost Comprehension and the Reading Comprehension Quickies will allow students to practice reading skills while using a variety of resources and types of texts. These fun, hands-on resources make it so that student's are excited about learning and want to practice their skills! Having these resources out and easily accessible allows the students the freedom to practice their skills in a variety of ways with materials that make learning more fun and engaging!
