Don't forget about us! We are the smallest school district in our ISD (only 2.5 square miles). This means we are sometimes overlooked for some of the generosity of our city because it goes to the larger school districts. We have a very diverse population with a majority of our students being Hispanic. Many of our students are also English Language Learners. We have a 95% free and reduced lunch population. With all of these factors, we also have a very passionate district. We are full of history, and believe in the students and the population that we teach. Our teachers are dedicated and always willing to try new ways of teaching to meet the needs of our students.
