My students are amazing! Although they come from hard circumstances, and some are behind in their grade level, their love of learning is infectious. Many don't have outside opportunities to build fundamental math concepts and yet they come to me wanting to soak it all in! The ability to work with these students in small groups provides the needed confidence boost in math they require.
