My students are 7th and 8th graders who love the theater but want to be behind the scenes. They love tools, machines and technology. They want to be in the thick of the play preparations and performances. I want to involve as many of them as possible and this new sound mixer is a natural. Up to 10 students can control various components such as microphone sound, music and sound effects. In my mind I can visualize several of them sitting in the audience with their i pad adjusting the sound and feeling and looking like pros!
