Our school is located in a low income area. Our textbooks are outdated and we do not have any computers for the children. Many of the students are refugees from Africa, and others are here from Latin America countries. Many have parents in jail, or are children of drug addicts. And these children are WONDERFUL! They love to learn and be challenged. Many children have moved from place to place and are behind in their educational skills. Our school is fairly small, but because of this our resources are limited. These children deserve the same opportunities that children in higher income areas receive. They deserve access to computers and other technology which would assist them in developing their educational foundation.

About my class
