My school has no color printer available for teachers or students to use. Additionally, my school is in a rural area where access to art museums is very limited. Access to a color printer would allow me to develop lessons where my students create works of art, photograph them, and print them to "sell" to their classmates, who are pretending to be museum curators or just patrons of the arts. This lesson would not only introduce my elementary students to the concept of the art museum, but it would help them consider not only their own, but others' art preferences.
