I am a 7th grade math teacher in a high-need school hoping to bring back a love of learning and even more so a feeling of success for each and every one of my students. My students come to me with any number of challenges that are beyond their control--being hungry, homeless, feeling not cared for and tired. They also come with challenges that I strive daily to help them overcome--not having the basic supplies needed to be successful, a lack of foundation and basics that must be mastered before they can move on and more importantly a lack of self-esteem.

About my class
