Hello everyone! I teach at an inner city public school in Worcester, Massachusetts. This year I changed schools. In the new school we have nearly 500 students from diverse backgrounds and cultures. We have many students with special needs as well as a very high number of low income families and English Language Learners. Approximately 75% of our students are English Language Learners. We also have a behavioral program for children who need extra behavioral support. Due to the constant budget cuts, I am moved a great deal from grade to grade. Basically wherever I'm needed I go! The transitions are difficult but I always adapt! The advantage of this is that I know what the upcoming expectations are as the children move up so I know exactly what I have to prepare them for. I love teaching and I love my students!
