These students are from diverse backgrounds, but primarily have been taught to work independently in their kindergarten classrooms last year. Our school provides a wonderful climate for our students. We offer free breakfast each morning, which is vital to their brain function since the majority of our students are on free/reduced lunch. Our community has taken a hit in employment and many of our parents were laid off of their manufacturing jobs this past year.
