The school where I teach follows the model of inquiry driven, project-based learning. All of the learning that happens is done through application to the real world in order for students to have a more meaningful learning experience. A part of what we do is have students lead their learning through inquiry and this is done with projects. Another part of our school model is being at the forefront of technology whenever possible. Through grants and funding, we are able to provide computer technology for our students making it a one-to-one environment. My students are inner-city freshman and come from many different backgrounds. They are some really bright students who might not have the best available resources and funding to them, but they do the best with what they have and could do even better with more. They are eager to learn and get the most out of their education. It is my goal to do the most that I can for them, offering the best education and resources that I can.
