The resources in the classroom for which I am seeking funding will provide students with opportunities to reconstruct and create ancient world arts and crafts, such as: totem poles, Trojan horse, and Chinese lantern and will bring ancient history back to life. Most of all, they will learn about the history and culture of a particular ancient civilization and the importance of their arts and crafts. The donations to this project will improve my classroom by increasing supplies that will enable hands on and project based learning opportunities. Students will be more engaged and are motivated to learn if they can participate in hands on learning activities and materials, including: crayons, colored pens, markers, construction paper, scissors, and glue.
