My students are 8th graders in California. Think back to when you were in middle school (junior high)... wouldn't iPads make learning so much more engaging? Today, kids are used to getting information in a second, and having state of the art technology in my classroom will help keep me relevant to their teenage lives. iPads provide a hands-on learning environment, and there is no better way to learn than with hands-on activities and lessons. I have done my research and piloted several recommended apps and programs using iPads with my own iPad. Adding additional iPads to my class facilitate my teaching, the children's learning, and the overall quality of their education.
