My school, KIPP Los Angeles Prep serves an amazing population of students. Sure 94% of them are on free and reduced lunch and sure most will be the first to go to college in their family, but these middle schoolers in East Los Angeles are the best group of learners I've encountered. Our school takes no shortcuts and offers no excuses. We will succeed.
