My 4th Grade Bilingual Class needs a class set of "Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing" books by Judy Blume. My students were not focused on reading, however since I took over the class in October 2007, I've emphasized on the reading to develop their comprehension skills, which will reflect on their writing skills. Both of these are extremely important not only needed to pass the TAKS exams, but also needed for their success in subsequent grade levels.
