As the librarian for an elementary school, my goal is to provide students with a variety of learning opportunities that tie into the curriculum and their personal interests. The library is a safe place where children can explore a variety of worlds and topics and sate their curiosity. I want my students to have the best opportunities to become lifelong learners and to think of the library as a place not only for books and reading but also for building and creativity.
