I teach 2nd graders in a public k-2, Title I school. My students include those with emotional difficulties, learning disabilities and English as a second language. Math fluency and number sense is a daily struggle with simple addition and subtraction being the limiting factors. If I could help my students master these most basic of math skills, the rest of their mathematical learning will not only be easier and more enjoyable, but will make more sense.

About my class
