My students attend a charter school in Boston. 77% of the students in our school qualify for free and reduced price lunches. They are enthusiastic and inquisitive eighth graders who work hard in their U. S. history class. The ninety 8th graders at our school take history, biology, English, and algebra. They also participate in two hours of tutorial each day. This results in over six hours of sitting time within the school day!
