Our students are high achievers from economically diverse communities in Maryland. After being selected by lottery, they are exposed to accelerated math, science and liberal arts programs. Many of our kids qualify as farms and in general do not have any access to technology at home. We use our computer lab to teach them how to produce college level work. Half of the student body stays after daily and many come to school voluntarily for Saturday school. We have students in middle school learning Pre-Calculus and 12th graders interning in Applied Physics Labs at local universities.
