My ninth graders are a mixture of all income levels and races. They like to learn but get bored very easily. They especially like hands-on projects and these kits are a perfect way to teach this part of the curriculum. Normally, this topic is boring to them if all we do is talk about it. I need materials to teach this using hands-on methods. Most of my students flourish with a more hands-on approach to learning. Our school has 1800+ students and I teach STEM classes all day. I have a large number of SPED students. They do especially well with kinesthetic activities where they get to use their hands. They would feel very proud of themselves to master a high-tech project such as this!
