I teach 30 energetic third graders who love to learn and be challenged. They are a diverse group, both culturally and socio-economically. Their learning styles vary, but they all share a positive attitude and an eagerness to learn. I want my students to love learning and to be ready to meet the challenges of a 21 century education. They are at a disadvantage to many of their peers if they do not experience technology frequently in their school curriculum. iPads in the classroom will help bring technology to third graders at my school. We have two classes of third grade and I collaborate well with the other third grade teacher. We plan to work together to create innovate lessons and find engaging apps to use with our classes. All third graders at my school will use these iPads throughout the year.
