I have the best students a teacher could ask for. They come with incredible personal stories, a wealth of ideas and imagination, and most important of all, the desire to overcome the odds and succeed. I have 130 students of whom the majority are a part of the Federal Lunch Program. A large number of my students come from families where their primary language is not English. They like soccer and music, art and the Broncos. They have dreams and aspirations grander than any other students I have ever worked with.
