About my class

Our students are rural, diverse in culture and economic status. My classes give students the hands-on and real world experiences they don't get in their core classes. We conduct water quality labs, tear down and rebuild engines, measure wildlife populations, restore local trout streams, raise plants in the greenhouse and learn skills needed for a successful career. Each one of my students has an active resume which we work on each semester. Data and research are done using as much technology as we have. The goal of this year is to get as many students in my classes to utilize my school website to organize assignments, data, and get as close to possible to "paperless". Doing this requires more technology, computers, than what I have access to due to budget restraints. More requirements of teachers and less money in public schools to do it! Students of today are technology driven and learn more and better by using it. Help me bring that excitement of learning to my classroom!
