I have the most wonderful group of students - gifted and talented fifth graders - who need more than the regular education program can provide. Not only do they need higher level academics, but they also need enrichment activities such as art. My school is in a low income area where every student is on free or reduced price lunch, and we have not been able to fund many enrichment opportunities for our students.
