My students are the most awesome kids ever. Still, many do not have access to the technology that could open their minds to a whole other world in a brand new way. Many of my students are considered economically disadvantaged and are on free and reduced lunch. I have taught homeless, transient, and abused students as well as students with a variety of other issues. Many of my students simply struggle academically for a multitude of reasons. But, They all respond to technology. Knowing this, when I look at them I do not see them as troubled unreachable kids. I see them as students for whom I have the opportunity to help become someone greater than they ever imagined. I see their potential and they are bursting with it.
