I teach 22 energetic first graders and coach both spell and math academic bowl teams. I enjoy my students enthusiasm and the way their "light bulbs" go off when discovering something brand new. We are from a rural area with a moderate population of the students living in moderate poverty and have about half the school's population on the free and reduced lunch program.
