We are a small, rural school in East Texas, with a high poverty rate and a low SES. My students are in a self-contained environment where all subjects are taught. We are striving to present these intermediate students with motivating modes of learning at school that may not be available to them at home. With well over one million apps now available for the iPad, this is one approach that keeps them engaged.
