My students are those with special needs ranging from learning disabilities to social/emotional needs, and who benefit from non-traditional instruction. Many enter high school well below grade level in reading and math. The multi-modality and interactive experience that the iPad provides will help them succeed in their academic classes. The iPad provides apps for students with special needs such as math manipulatives, oral reading, and interactive science experiments.
