Students will use the magazine issues to enhance their comprehension and reading fluency abilities. The more interested the students are in what they are reading, the more likely the students will choose to read without resistance. The students in room 304 yearn for high-interest, relevant information that directly relates to the world around them in and out of school. Students have a natural curiosity about topics that are intriguing to them. The key to keeping students motivated to read, and to instill a love of reading for enjoyment is to pique their interests with resources that they can relate to.
