My students are capable of achieving great things but lack the tools necessary to compete equitably with their more affluent peers. Our school is fairly small, with limited resources and funding. Our administration is unable to provide our class with the materials necessary to be successful in developing 21st Century Skills in mathematics. My goal as a teacher is to encourage a genuine interest in lifelong learning while developing the talents my students bring to the classroom.
