Hi! I am a junior high special education teacher and teach Language Arts, Math, and Science to 6th - 8th grade students. They are a wonderfully creative groups of students that struggle with reading, writing, and math skills. My students are hard working and benefit greatly from using technology to help them improve their skills. Even though many of them struggle with grammar, spelling, writing, reading fluency, and math concepts; they quickly pick up hands-on skills required to operate technological devices. Using devices, such as Chromebooks, reduces the struggle of completing assignments and lets them focus more on the learning process. Manipulatives, such as fraction pieces and lab equipment, help them visualize math and science concepts. All hands on activities help my students realize success - so I write Donor's projects, trying to support my program by increasing technology and manipulatives.
