My students are the most amazing group of Kindergarten and 1st graders. Every student in my classroom has autism. Autism is a development disorder that affects every aspect of their lives. These wonderful scholars come to school everyday to learn and explore. They attend a school with a very high rate of poverty. Our classroom is a great space since it is close to the playground and bathrooms; however, unfortunately it has zero white boards or chalk boards.
