Telling TIME is such a basic skill; however, my students are struggling with it. I teach third grade to 20 students in a North Carolina school that serves over 750 students. Of that population, 55% are economically disadvantaged students, 38% are limited English proficient students, and we are a magnet school for students with disabilities. Parent involvement and support is a struggle every year.
